Starting your own business can be a daunting experience especially when you have never done so before and have limited funding or expertise in the industry. There are a number of factors that need to be carefully studied prior to any decision being made even at the initial stages of choosing a location. A good restaurant owner, will identify a niche in the market and attempt to exploit that niche to their best advantage whilst providing high quality.

This is the tactic I have used with may of my clients who often approach me to identify suitable locations for their next ventures. A prime example would be Ginos Dial a Pizza which only started 3 years a go with 1 branch and has now expanded to 4 (on to the 5th by the end of the year with  the addition of Wolverhampton) but also Salathong, who were successful in Cambridge for many years and then chose to expand to Stevenage after careful research of the market.

So let’s have a look at some of the basic of Opening a Restaurant and what costs one can expect derived from my many years of working with over 50 restaurants globally.
