It is something I often speak about to both my students (whom I mentor for Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin University)  as well as speeches I give to companies and events. I cannot stress enough the importance of Listening on social media but nonetheless, I still more frequently than not see companies, brands and influencers focusing more on promoting their skills, expertise and knowledge rather than those of their customers and clients..the very same audience they are trying to impress.
