Work together to end Homelessness
Discover Emmaus UK
The first Emmaus community opened in 1992 and there are now 29 communities spread across the UK. There are also four Emmaus groups currently working to open new communities. Emmaus supports more than 750 formerly homeless people, by providing them with a home for as long as they need it and meaningful work in our social enterprises. There are plans to increase this to 1,000 places by 2020.
Addressing the Client Needs
Our CEO, Nicholas, was the youngest Marketing Director in the UK at the time and assisted in many aspects of developing the charity, acquiring, new land, solidarity schemes and charitable work and events in the UK and abroad. He also guided the company’s new website design and also assisted with social media and other other marketing aspects of the charity.
